Arsenal followers and plenty of reports reaching us from Italy that the Gunners are interested in the troubled Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli and the significantly sought soon after defender Simon Kjaer. Spurs and Man United also hunting at him. The Genuine Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has been stating that Manchester United and Manchester City want to sign him. It’s possible on PS3 but I am positive not in actual daily life. For all the the latest transfer news log on to mirrorfootball.co.uk

Hi Darren, do you have any insider spy news as to what went on with the players in the England camp or are we going to have to read it Stephen Warnocks autobiography at christmas? Also any news on who Villa are lining up as a replacement for Milner?

  2. ManUtdRooney10 Says:

Hi, Darren I think you are right about England and I would also love to see Harry Redknapp get the job. Good news about Fabiano he’s been impressive and I would like to see him at Man United. I posted a vote for Higuain for top scorer how do I know if it has been counted or not?

@badhalf Thanks Badhalf. Excellent work yourself today!

@dailymirror – one last thought, as i’m already leaving work late, what I would do with Francesc is talk to him and make him realize that we’re one campaign away from building something great. If they don’t do this season, then he can go as we’re not making him happy.

Several players have come out and said that they wish they hadn’t left Arsenal… So he needs to know that ‘the grass is always greener on the other side.’

Good night or good morning. Keep up the great work!

I mean a goalie and a center back or two should be our top priorities.

January we might take a look at another midfeild option if Nasri isn’t working out.
Another distant possiblitiy is Diaby who needs to learn to be more focused on establishing a roles for himself and less happy feet. Cant believe he made the France national team, but then again that team has a bigger loon in charge than Argentina. haha.

  6. badhalf Says:

@dailymirror – Cesc is a great player. After last year, where he carried the team to the next-level and scored important goals, he’s very hard to replace.

Its just so frustrating how close we are and now he wants to leave…. Just doesn’t make any sense! Also Its a bit of an insult when Barca and his intl teammates is tapping him up!

I think if Cesc really does leave, then Nasri will have to take the that role. I think we need to spend money in goal and CB this summer.

  7. lhasti Says:

@dailymirror That’s interesting. I thought he was class. We shall see how good he really is if he comes to the Premiership.

  8. dailymirror Says:

@badhalf. Hi Badhalf. What would YOU do with Cesc? And with whom would you replace him, if at all?

  9. badhalf Says:

@dailymirror – haha… good one. I might be a bit blinded by the fact that he is one of like half a dozen English players on the reserves. Bentdner was given a chance, might as well try Simpson. Didn’t he get 2 or 3 in a carling cup game a year or so ago..
After the Cesc mess, I think we need to keep as many of the English lads on the squad and happy. Otherwise, we’ll be left we a bunch of “home-sick” glory hunting babies. Bit harsh, but clearly i’m a bit annoyed with Cescgate.

@badhalf Hi Badhalf. The reason Jay Simpson wants out of Arsenal is that he cant get a game. If he was any good he wouldn’t have that problem. If you know what I mean…

  11. dailymirror Says:

@oldroot07 Hi Oldroot. I have just watched Fabiano play for Brazil and he looks pure gold. The only problem is his age. I think he is around 28 or 29 and so you wouldnt pay big money for a player that age.

  12. badhalf Says:

@dailymirror – just read Jay Simpson wants out of Arsenal… there goes some more good English potential!

  13. oldroot07 Says:

lol i like that Darren maybe in PS3 thats really good any way i dont think Fabiano would be good in EPL, and i think Man united should get Ozil him to partner scholes will be quality

  14. badhalf Says:

@dailymirror – haha… you never know, he may turn out to be the next Ian Wright.

    Enjoy the Brazil match…

  15. dailymirror Says:

@badhalf Hi Badhalf. Not sure Jay Simpson is the man/boy most Arsenal fans are looking for.

  16. dailymirror Says:

@lhasti Hi Ilhasti. Watched Kjaer during the world cup for denmark. Have to say he didnt impress me…

  17. dodgiecodge Says:

    Wenger not webber

  18. dodgiecodge Says:

I agree with u badhalf on the Jay Simpson front he’s a quality striker, webber needs to start using more of our quality reserves Carlos vela for one

  19. badhalf Says:

@dailymirror – If Capello does stick around hopefully he’ll take a good long look at his selection and fix some of the big question marks… i.e. Heskey over Agbonlahor (my biggest annoyance); Starting Lennon over J. Cole, and the fact the team was pretty flat and lethargic the whole tourney.

ps… If Arsenal does get another striker then my boy, Jay Simpson, wont get a chance to shine!

  20. lhasti Says:

Arsenal need Kjaer, he is absolute quality! Also he can pass a ball brilliantly. Spend the cash for once Wenger!!

  21. dailymirror Says:

@badhalf You are right about that Badhalf. But often at international level a new broom is needed when players fail at a major tournament. It also remains to be seen whether or not the new man (if they get a new man in) will want his own players.

  22. badhalf Says:

@dailymirror ok… but he’s been in the FA system for long enough to be given the chance at the senior level. Didn’t England come in 2nd in the Euro u21? I think it was a pretty bad beating, but still it was further than the senior’s Euro Cup effort.

  23. dailymirror Says:

    @dodgiecodge Absolutely right DodgieCodgie.

  24. dailymirror Says:

@badhalf Dont agree Badhalf. Pearce has the whiff of Steve McClaren after Sven Goran Eriksson…
